Cheshire Abstracts – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases, commissions, and interactions with Cheshire Abstracts. By placing an order through our website, social platforms, or directly with us, you agree to these terms.

2. Artwork & Product Information

  • All artworks are created by hand by Cheshire Abstracts. Variations in colour, texture, and composition are natural and part of the creative process.

  • Colours may appear differently depending on screen settings or lighting. We cannot guarantee exact colour matching.

  • Sizes listed are approximate but as accurate as possible.

3. Commissions

  • Commissioned pieces require a non‑refundable deposit (percentage agreed at the time of booking).

  • We work collaboratively with clients, but the final artistic decisions rest with us.

  • Once a commission is approved and completed, the remaining balance must be paid before dispatch or collection.

  • Commissioned artwork is non‑returnable and non‑refundable.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP and may change without notice.

  • Payment must be made in full before artwork is shipped or collected.

  • We accept the payment methods displayed on our website at checkout.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship across the UK and internationally where possible.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or quoted directly for bespoke pieces.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays or external factors.

  • Once artwork is handed to the courier, responsibility for transit lies with the courier service.

  • Any customs fees or import duties for international orders are the buyer’s responsibility.

6. Returns & Refunds

  • Original artworks and commissions are non‑returnable unless damaged in transit.

  • If your artwork arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours with clear photographs of the packaging and artwork.

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

  • Prints or merchandise may be returnable depending on the supplier’s policy; details will be provided upon request.

7. Cancellations

  • Orders for ready‑made artwork may be cancelled within 24 hours if the item has not yet been dispatched.

  • Commission deposits are non‑refundable under all circumstances.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All artwork, images, branding, and written content remain the intellectual property of Cheshire Abstracts.

  • No artwork or imagery may be reproduced, copied, or used commercially without written permission.

  • Purchasing artwork does not grant reproduction rights.

9. Use of Our Website

  • You agree not to misuse our website or attempt to interfere with its functionality.

  • We may update or modify content at any time without notice.

10. Privacy

  • We respect your privacy and only use your information to process orders and communicate with you.
